Grow up

I would say Rons right on the money with the Grow up statement.!

Your post is to make a mockery of people who will what loose there jobs in Mich to a Fisher plant .

1st the thread title was {Blizzard owners- DD buys Blizzard} Bill your not a Blizzard owner ok what you plow a few driveways after you flipped the coin and won the toss to keep your job has a Teacher. You couldnt justify even a yellow expanding plow with the few jobs you do.

Bill,

If you took is personally than maybe it is because you posted with a personal motive. I am posting attempting to open some eyes based on what I consider a business person view. If you can offer a business prospective from your years owning and operating a business please do. I love it when I get something from the forum. If not well....I woluld like to add to this paragrah but I am SURE I will violate forum rules and with respect to all the hard work the Mods do to keep things civil I WILL refrain.

Once again I think I have made my point and if some fail to see the vaule so be it. That is why this is a Public forum and not the Ron or Bill forum.

Fred,

This is getting scary we agreed twice in less than 72 hours. Maybe this is a trend or back to the way things were.

Ron

Forum rules are no disguised language i edited that part out.

Now for the whole board to know people's lives peoples jobs maybe affected over this whole deal , For those of us that did join the Blizzard camp it would be in the best intrest of the board to maybe respect the feelings some Blizzard owners are feeling right know.

If this thread is gonna turn into a battle of words then maybe it will need to end.

Here's my bottom line with this whole situation...

Fisher plows= Good

Blizzard plows= Very Good

Fisher Dealer Service(for the most part)= Below average

Blizzard= Very Good (in my experience with two of them)

Dealing with corporate:

Fisher= Poor

Blizzard=Good

Product trend:

Blizzard=well made to getting better

Fisher=Very good to below average

As you can see the two plows and companies in my opinion don't come out equally and this is the reason for my concern with this situation.

The end users like us can only speculate as to DD intentions with the company and its products but isn't that what the Internet and this website are for? The exchange of ideas and opinions!?

This thread (as far as I'm concerned) has run its course so this is my last post on this.

Maybe you should all hold some sort of on-line memorial service to commemorate the Blizzard buy-out . . . . you guys need to get a grip!!!!
Wow, someone with a clear mind speaks. I think some people need to get out of their houses and get some fresh air, some of you guys are getting too caught in this whole situation, especially when you have nothing to do with the company at all. :beatsme

Ron, with the exception of Jay you are guilty of forcing your ideas on us more then anyone.

I did not realize only Blizzard owners could respond here. Anytime anyone is asking about a spreader you push Downeaster, if is a plow you push Blizzard.

I do not own a Blizzard but I have installed and repaired many more then you own for local customers. I have not bought a new plow in three years so I have not yet had the opprotunity. Seems to me having worked on, installed or own, every major brand I and others can respond.

Fred, it would seem to me that whether a part time plower, with one plow or someone with, ten or more should not make a difference. John Allin and SMG were the biggest, and we all know where that went. Some of the most knowledgable people here only own one or two plows. You said yourself that you own a garage, so snow is not your main business. Seems to me a teacher in New England would make a good plower (school is canceled here when it snows).

I have had good and poor experiences with all plow makers, but I don't dwell on them like you do. By the way last year plowing accounted for just about 50% of my gross.

I have read over and over insults to Meyer owners, so don't seperate yourself and say Blizzard owners are feeling bad. Come on, its a piece of steel on your truck. Let's see what happens. You guys are crying worse then when the Dodgers left Brooklyn (I am not that old).

NOTHING HAS HAPPENED except for paperwork at this point.
