Is anyone running a back plow on a 1 ton dump (10ft bed or similar)? I am thinking I may do this as part of some backup for another truck this winter, if I get an account I'm bidding on right now?(80-90 home sub.) Just curious of your thoughts and or experiences with this setup? The only down side I can see to it so far, is making an already long truck, longer?
And on the subject of back plow brands.......any advice/opinions are welcome..I havent setup the mainline rig yet, but when/if I do, it would only make sense to setup some back at the same time whether its putting a back plow on the dump, hiring a sub, etc........I am being told that I will have an answer by the middle of Aug. on this bid? that probably means the end of Aug.
With that time frame I feel good about having plenty of time to prepare.
thanks
edit: btw, the dump is a NBS 2007 chevy 6.0 w/wideout
