Most of the Buyers spreaders have the morot on the bottom of the spreader. That definately is the biggest downfall of them. And at nearly $200 a pop, you must be careful. I know I have a "square " orange one on my truck. It works very well after I made a vibrator for it. I am using bulk treated salt in it. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. I've seen motors on ebay, for as little as 99.00 for buyers/meyers etc, supposed to be brand new. I'm thinking of picking one up just for a spare. see if this link works.
