Power Steering hose question

The lines are like most typical automotive fluid lines. You can use bulk steel line, and flare nuts to make whatever you want.A good hydraulics shop should be able to make you a custom length hose.

It may be cheaper and easier to just make a short metal extension line with flare nuts on either end,end then use a famle union to mate to a regular PS hose assy.If you can use a double flaring tool,it's a piece of cake.

One thing you may want to do as well,is to make a cooler for the PS return line.A few loops of steel tube works well.Try to mount it somewhere in the airflow,so it will increase the cooling effect. You can use rubber line on the return side,to make it easier, just make sure it is rated for trans\ps fluid use.Regular 30R7/9 fuel line will not hold up.

See HERE for how to use a double flaring tool.
