Ok lets have some fun here. When we were kids what did you do to try tp make it snow. You know the tricks and things or sayings.

Indian snow dance maybe or go to bed with your pjs turned inside out? Or even now adays. You know like when you wash your truck and the next days it rains. That kinda stuff.

Hey maybe we all need to wash our trucks tomorow and put up our snow equipment so it'll snow for sure LOL.

there was about 30 minutes of making snow... strip 5 foot wide 30 foot long... maybe 3/8 deep in the deepest part and a coating at the tail end.. very dense wet heavy snow ! wont work in the upper 20s I had to wait till it dropped to the lower 20s to get it to produce.. Some kid being outside at 6am playing with his home made contraption you found on the internet making snow :D

Gonna take alot of making snow to make a pass with the Oshkosk huh ? Best thing to make it snow IME is tearing your plow in half or better yet your truck. Then it will snow.

If I do a real good scrubbing of my truck in NEVER lasts more than 5 days. So, MOnday I am hitting the car wash and vacuuming it out. :wink

Lol, washed and waxed mine yesterday, cleaned the shop floor, prayed, bowed to the east, rubbed an entire rabbit, and was looking around to see what could be sacrificed............

This winter, planning a float move of a bigger piece of logging equipment has done the trick. Three moves (Deere 2554 hoe @ 37 tons, Cat 322C delimber @ 46 tons and a mission to recover the 322B hoe) each needed the plow/sander and tire chains to pull them off because of the snow on those days. I have to move the log loader and truck haul to another job Wednesday, so it should snow then ......

I'll tell you what worked for me (not very well, but it did none the less) this morning was picking up a brand new Scag Cheetah on an open trailer. As soon as I got on the road it started snowing and got our new machine all dirty. Only got an inch, but it was enough for a salt run.
