Alright guys, I'll level with you. This is truly my last resort to trying to figure out what the hell is happening with this plow.

The equipment: 2016 F350 w/snowplow package with Minute Mount 1

The problem: When moving the plow (left, right,up,down) sometimes the heater turns off then a few seconds later turns back on. Sometimes the heater and radio turns off with it and then they both come back on again. There is a noticeable clicking noise behind the dash on the far left side, which I'm assuming is a relay because that is where the main fuse box is underneath the hood. The problem happened every once in a great while, but is starting to get more frequent.

What I have checked so far: The battery (verified over 13 volts), the alternator (charging battery over 13 volts), plugs, cables (new power supply cable to plow, as well as upgrading the size of wiring to battery), fuses/relays, the isolation module (replaced), the controller(replaced), the electric motor on the plow (also replaced).

As you can tell I have been through a lot trying to figure out why the heater/radio keeps tripping and since the problem is getting worse any advice you guys could give is more than appreciated. This plow was on my 02' F-350 and worked perfectly. There was nothing wrong with the plow so we mounted it on my new truck.

Ford issue

I was having a similar issue with my new 17 f-250 radio would cut out when lifting plow. There is a Tsb through ford. I took it in and told them about Tsb they Re flashed computer and problem seems to be solved. But as other person noted about 2nd battery. I have heard that is the best solution and will solve issue. Good luck.

sorry to revisit this old post but the "2 wire harness" GM service bulletin does not resolve with the problem. i have a 17 silverado 3500 with a fisher XV2. i bought the truck new and had the plow installed. the radio and gauges have blinked and turned off when using the plow since day 1 . i had it back to the dealer a few times and they installed that 2 wire harness. it still did not fix the problem. the plow has to much draw on the electrical system and the ECU has to "dump" some of the load. so to speak....
i finally was able to get a "wiring guru" friend over to take a look at the plow wiring and he figured it out immediately.
The plow wire needs to be hooked directly to the battery. it can not be hooked to the distribution block.
