The ten cent piece of spring metal clip that holds the pin handle lever in place just corroded through and broke off getting the plow ready this Fall. Checked with Carquest and this little bit of spring steel that just clips the handle to the headgear costs $15? Kinda choked on that one and told him I would shop elsewhere.
I thought maybe one of those spring clips that holds a broom to the garage wall might work but I can't seem to find one.
Anyone ever had this happen and what did you do to fix it? I'm not shelling out $15.
Whats the downside if I just leave it unclipped?
