Hi Guys
My up and down button fell off my controller the other day, glued it up and now the controller flashs green and then red. I have a new touch pad to install.
I have a new touch pad to install but Im wondering why its flashing red. Any ideas? I looked on the Boss web site and that did not have any info about a flashing controller.

Yes it is the smart touch 2 controller. I have not had the flashing red light since I installed the touchpad last night. Went out today and plowed for 6 hours and no flashing red light.

mine will flash green and red when it goes into sleep mode after something like 20-30 minutes of no use.

try turning the remote on and off and that usually fixes the problem and it is most likely in sleep mode

Flashing Red and Green is just Sleep Mode. If the plow control is left turned on and inactive for a period of time it will do this if it is a Smart Touch 2. Turn it off and Back on and all will be good.

I must have left it on, I normally turn it off so when I looked down and its flashing red I thought I might have a problem.
