Is anyone using or had any feedback on Artic Claw snow tires? Found 4, lite use studded 245/75/16's for my Chev 1500 for $150.

A friend of mine had Arctic Claws and loved them. I think they are a generic brand of cooper which are good too.

Thanks; They are spelled Arctic [not Artic] as I had it! Did find more info on-line; Have to drive an hour away to see them so I'm getting some info first.

Put in -"Arctic Claw by Cooper"- & some info will come up. Seems to be a knock off made for Cooper but I'll be checkin them out tomorrow. I'll follow up with what happens. Thanks; Chris

Thanks but I need the 6 hole standard style rims. I have to call this guy back soon but I still don't know if the 04's will fit my 01. Nappa no help, dealers closed, junk yards closed & google no help!

Its good to see they have the Meets the Severe Snow Requirement of the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA)
I also found ;

Cooper Tire manufactures the Arctic Claw for TBC Private Brands (tbcprivatebrands.com), who markets several tire brands, including Multi-Mile. TBC does not manufacture tires but instead has them manufactured to their specifications by many suppliers, including Cooper Tire.

Cooper Tire is not involved with any of the sales and marketing activities associated with the brands we manufacture for our private label customers. Consequently, those products are not included on the Cooper website.

I dont the tire engineering background to look at a tread pattern and tell that it really is a great snow tire but it does have the RMA rating.
