Hi fellows, I just got me a farm truck. It is a 1991 K2500 GMC pickup with a 8' fisher power angle plow. It has a leaking gas tank. Rock auto has a tank with the fuel pump for about $200.00. My problem is I have no idea how big the tank is. They have them in 25 gallon or 35 gallon.I did a search but found nothing helpful.
How do I figure out the size?
Thanks

Some info on Tank

Hi - All the info I have on the '91 says it is a 34 gallon tank. Best way to find out for sure is take a picture of your option list in the glove box (or take the phone out to the glove box) and call your local GM Dealer parts guy and he should be able to tell you what it is.

I got a replacement tank for a K5 Blazer several years ago from J.C. Whitney and was very pleased with the price and quality - they have a galvanized one for your '91 available - check it out. Good Luck! plowing!

Thanks BJ. It seems like it is a 35 to me, too. I'll check out good ol' JC Whitney.
