It has snowed all day off and on, we got 6" so far, and the wind is really blowing creating whiteout conditions. We are supposed to get 3 or four more inches tonight. Should be a fun 10" storm to clean up in the morning. It's pretty powdery so it will plow easy.

Good to see you are getting some good snow. We got 3" today, but they are calling for up to 8 more by Thurs eve. I do not think we will get it but who knows.

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND
THURSDAY NIGHT...

LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL SET UP NEAR WATERTOWN THURSDAY MORNING AND
THEN SHIFT SOUTH ACROSS THE TUG HILL PLATEAU AREA LATER IN THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. UP TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
TUG HILL BEFORE THE STEADIER SNOW SETTLES SOUTH ACROSS THE REST OF
THE COUNTY THURSDAY NIGHT. OVER A FOOT OF SNOW IS
POSSIBLE SOUTH OF THE TUG HILL THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY. THE
COMBINATION OF SNOW AND WEST WINDS GUSTING UP TO 25 MILES PER HOUR
THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT...WILL CREATE WHITEOUTS AND VERY
DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY ALONG NORTH TO SOUTH
HIGHWAYS SUCH AS INTERSTATE 81.


A LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH MEANS THAT SIGNIFICANT WINTER WEATHER IS
POSSIBLE IN LOCALIZED AREAS WITHIN THE NEXT 36 HOURS. STAY TUNED TO
NOAA WEATHER RADIO AND OTHER RADIO AND TV STATIONS FOR FURTHER
DETAILS OR UPDATES.


Looks like Sonjaab and I will be busy here tomorrow and Friday!

Ahhhhhh lake effect- oh what fun it is- over 100" so far this season!!
