First let me say that this is a wonderful site and you guys & gals give tons of great advice. I'm hoping that you guys may be able to help me with this one.

Wouldn't you know it, we are supposed to finally get accumulating snow and my E60 starts leaking Hydro. fluid. Where it is leaking is where the moter conects to the rest of the unit, it's a slow leak. :headwall :headwall Any suggestions as to what this may be? Is it a hard fix? If I have to, am I still able to plow? One more thing too, I'm in west MI, and was wondering if there was somewhere local or fast to get parts from. Thanks for the help!

sounds like you have lost the pumpshaft seal.
parts are around 3.50 to 6.00 . Better fix it you may end up with oil in the motor.

Parts at www.discontsnowplowparts.com
aka Mill Supply Inc
there are other parts stores on line this is just one of them

you can order on line.

thanks Tileman

Thanks for the fast response, I'll have to contact them in the morning to see how fast I can get the part. If I can't get it for a couple of days, is it okay to still plow with this unit? I will make sure that I fill it before I go out.

Also, if anyone else may know where to get one the same day, please let me know. Thanks again for the fast responce.

You should check with your local plow dealers first (try the Yellow Pages?). If they can't help you, then any of the online suppliers can ship Next Day Air. But you don't have to wait until the next morning to contact them, put your order in online when you know what part you need.

Here are a bunch of the online supply companies, and there are others also. Good luck.
