Hello....I am new at plowing and I ran into a major problem the other night...I bought my 1989 Dodge W350 dump truck and it has a Meyer e47 plow on it...The plow came with a thick rubber cutting edge on it....It was o.k. when I was plowing thick soft snow, but when it hit the wet bare pavement underneath the plow began to buffet/bounce up and down violently....It was going to shake the front end of the truck apart. The only way I could finish was to travel about 3 mph...Can anyone tell me the problem? Should I loosen the trip springs? Should I adjust the pitch forward or backward? Or should I dump the rubber edge for steel...There is what appears to be a steel edge on top of the rubber edge..Can I use this as a cutting edge???Help>>>>I've got to get this straightened out before it snows again....Thanks..
