I actually put the salter on the truck last night. I thaought we might get some freezing rain by morning,,,,
didnt happen...
anyone else doing much plowing or salting around the the us or canada
:D

I think you just jinxed yourself by mounting the sander. :D

We had some sleet mixing with rain, with very few scattered snowflakes around noon today. There was very little accumulation in some spots on ground from sleet while I was doing leaves cleanup. It sure got me thinking about the spreader that I still have not decided to get.

I had to put it on,,,, the one property i have , had a lot of slip and falls last year. They are paying me well to salt,salt,salt the lot...and plow at 1" of snow......
The price is right for the job thoaugh....:D

Ill take it off tonight, maybe that will un -jinx me.....:mad: lol

I'm building a swing mount for mine sunday so i guess i better take it off as soon as i get home

They are calling for 1 inch tonight, with 2-3 for tomorrow night. Weather has changed alot in the last couple of hours, went from 55 with no wind to mid 30's with 30-40 mph winds. My plow is ready, and the company that does salting for me just mounted their salter this evening. I don't trust our weather forecasters around here, they were right about 15% of the time last year.

It just started snowing here...

Of course it isnt cold enough to stay,,,,

the rain is just now changing over to snow. We are get winds 35-50 mph with gust up to 70mph. We are suppose to get 4-8" today thru Fri.

Another week of leaves and then i will probably get the sander on and make sure everything is working ok.Saw a few town trucks with them on today but they always have a couple ready to go.The state dot hooks up the plows every friday afternoon if its gonna snow or not.
