Hi All,
I'm new to the forum, and new to plowing as well. Many things to learn!
I have a 2001 Ford F250 Crew Cab 7.3l diesel. We just bought a used Blizzard Power plow, but have not picked up yet. My question is: Is this plow too heavy for this truck? Do I need to mod the truck?

No. You should be fine.
Should have the 3 leaf springs

I have a 2002 f-350 cab N chassis, 7.3. Only has two leafs in the front. It would be better with three.
Your plow is heavier than my Western. If you have three leafs, you are OK, only two, I would add a leaf.
I have broken both of mine.

Looking at options... I see Add-A-Leaf sells a kit for adding one leaf up front. Also looking at a set of Timbrens. Is one option better than the other?
