So I had an older western MVP 9’6” v blade installed and wired by someone who supposedly knew what they were doing. Long story short, since then I’ve had a parasitic battery draw that will drain my batteries (17’ ram 3500 Cummins) within 48 hours. New batteries, tested fine, but drawing a lot when the truck is off and plow is disconnected. Any ideas?

Did a full drain test, nothing made a difference. The controller is wired into an ignition-on fuse.

what do you mean the “ignition wire”? Like the truck ignition? Or are you referring to something in the plow harness?

that doesn’t sound right.

how could you still have a drain on the batteries with all the wires unhooked?
Something made a difference.

or you don’t have a parasitic drain you have a bad battery that can’t hold a charge.
