Hello all, new to the forum and to plows. I have a commercial account with 2 Walmarts. I usually use my tractor and skid steer but I just bought my first plow truck. Got tired of being cold and sick plowing.

Truck is an 88 F350 with a 7-1/2 ft meyer poly plow with an E60 pump. The plow has no power going to it. The guy I bought it from didn't know what the problem was but it was pretty obvious its a power issue and the price was right. He said he used it last year, then took it off, moved to a new house where it sat for a couple months, then we he wanted to sell it, nothing. This is my first plow but I am very mechanically inclined and am familiar with motors, hydraulics, wiring, all that. Ive been doing as much reading as possible before asking, but I need some help.

The controller does nothing when you turn it on and press buttons. No clicking, no lights on the controller, no pump noise, nothing. Its the square touchpad with 4 raised buttons.

I have a multimeter and a test light ready to start testing but I need to know where to put the pins/clip to test each circuit. From a different thread I read to test the orange and blue pins in the harness going to the controller inside the cab, and if I touched the right ones (think I did, orange-ground, blue-positive) it didnt read any voltage on my multimeter. Also want to know which terminals to touch for motor, solenoids, etc. I already cleaned connections on the battery to start with. Still nothing.

Motor is the older single lug design. Trying to get this moving in the next day or so because we have a potential storm coming Wednesday (today being sunday)

Ok so I found some info on another thread from Chuck who I'd love to hear from because youre obviously very knowledgable on Meyer everything.

I tested my ground on the motor housing and the bottom bolt for the unit. Both light up the tester. I have a good ground on the white wire on the solenoid. The tester lights up when I put the clip on the + battery terminal and touch the big power wire on the solenoid as well as when I touch it to the big power lug on the motor. I took jumper cables and touched battery and lug on motor and got spark.

I used my multimeter and touched the - pin of mm to the orange pin and + pin of mm to blue pin in the harness coming into the cab for the controller, no 12v. I found the 6 wires coming into the engine bay, orange goes to - post of battery. The blue is spliced into what looks to be a factory blue wire near the brake booster that goes into some little blue plastic splice thing, not sure what it is. When I touch this wire with the test light or the multimeter it doesnt do anything. No 12v. I think this is my problem but not sure where that wire goes

Pretty sure I found the problem, that blue wire. I guess really I answered my own question. I'm assuming the blue wire going into the controller harness is a key on 12v source from the factory wiring with a fuse in-line. Gonna try and repair it with new but connectors and see what happens.

red wire from controller to a power source,

after the controller lights up does the solinod click?
yes/ no
if not, replace it

jump the large terminals, did your pump run.
