Anyone familiar with how the solenoid controls the hydraulic rams? Backstory, bought a sno-way 22 and adapted it to my john deere 1series tractor used it all last winter and works well. Question I have is while angled it doesn't seem to have much force/pressure to keep it angled. I understand that if you hit a curb or frozen snow with the furthest part of plow it would allow the cylinder to retract so not to cause damage. Mine seems to do it even if it's some snow that's barely been pushed. As if the extended cylinder valve may be open?.?
I did hard wire the controls and did away with the remote and visually the plows functions correctly, left and right.( mounted to loader frame so didn't need up/down/ or down pressure) I'm curious if I missed something that controls the valves. A co-worker has a different brand poly plow(western?) and he was able to put furthest part of plow against some frozen snow and it never retracted. Which makes me wonder if mine is not right....
