all the stock is 5/8" thick and the angle is 5/16" everything is welded with 1/8" 6011 @ 125 amps heres the passenger side piece assembled

What size are you putting on? The 6.5 on my Dakota is a little small, I should have looked around for a 7 footer.

well we are putting a 6.5 on it for right now but we are getting a 7½' blade in the near future, just gotta watch ebay

That work bench looks just like mine does right now here at the house....i can't even see the top of it to set anything down on it.:D

One of theses days i'll straighten it up.

But the one at the garage where my lawn equipment is nice and clean due to there's no kids/wife leaving their stuff on it.

are you sure your getting good penetration?
the 5/16" to the 5/8" has great penetration

the 5/8" to 5/8" I decided to use the 6011 as a base and I made 2 more passes with 5/32" 7018 at 160 amps
