I don't have any experience with the Curtis plow, but I did sell and install a JD plow on a gator. I was very impressed with the plow. It sells for $1375 and takes about 2 hours to install if I remember correctly. The price list I have for Curtis shows a list of $1195 plus freight, which would put them about the same price. I do like the way the lift linkage is setup on the Deere being that the lift is tucked under the hood where it won't be damaged. I also like the way that the push arms on the blade run all the way back to the center of the machine where they can attach to a very solid point. Also, take into consideration parts and dealer service. Ether way the gator makes a good snow moving tool.
