I suspect I know the answer to this .. but

is there any "easy" way to flush the system? Usually I suction the fluid out. Can I remove one of the angle hoses and let it pump out. But then I still need to get to the screen, correct?

on edit...

I should have mentioned that this is a sno-pro 3000 from around the year 2000, so there is a hole in the A frame where you would think there should be a drain plug, but there is not. The tank is plastic and does not seem to have any sort of drain.

You can easily pump it out thru one of the angle ram hoses, but like you said, you still need to get the reservoir of to get at the filter.

After you have cleaned the reservoir and filter, refill with clean fluid and flush out the valves hoses and rams as well.
