I’ve had issues with mounting my fisher MM2 plow requiring two people until I figured out how to solve the problem. Simply attach a nylon strap to the triangle and over to the plow blade then snug it up. You might have to snug up the strap if your plows been sitting for a while. I put the strap on it every time I remove Plow from my truck because no matter what I tried the head assembly always seemed to move and I’d need a second person to hold it until I pulled into the frame, not anymore! It literally takes a minute to put the plow back on my truck!

Dude, Really?

I leave mine sit all the time Never have to do whatever backwoods thing Ur doing.
Pull up, into horns, push back on head gear pins pop in, sometimes a Lil jiggle to get it to engage the other.
Take off, pull handle leg drops, pull other handle and pins release.
Unplug 3 plugs, back out and ready for next time.
1; 62 yo w. g. on a 04 350 since new. MM2 is a MAJOR improvement over the mm1 I had on 02 which was a slight improvement over my Speedcast on my '84 which needed a floor jack to install every d**n time.
Maybe fisher improved,
Maybe it was me that improved, I do know that I work Smarter not Harder, it took me a long time 2 get here.
So really think about how U gotta do this job, it really isn't all that complicated.

Yup exactly smarter not harder. It takes about 10 seconds to put a strap on so head doesn’t move on unlevel ground or driveway incline it works for me.

Maybe if you showed video of what you're doing it would help us understand.
I don't see how the strap is helping from just a picture. What is the strap doing exactly?
Only problem I'm having as I've got older with arthritis is being able to push the head up so the pins lock. Last year no problem, this year I'm lacking some oomf.

Here’s the video link below.
Actually only one strap is needed. What it does is keep the head assembly in place so it doesn’t lean towards or away from your truck and if its a little too low to pull into the plow snug up on the strap or loose it up if it’s too high. Give it a try works for me

Ok Thanks.
Didn't download the video becasue of possible virus/stuff. But I get the idea now.
Sometimes I do have that same issue the head assembly moves or if theres been a lot of snow and I didn't attach it night before the truck will be much higher cause sitting on snow so this might help for those cases.
This won't make it easier on my joints to push up into place for the pins but it may prevent me from having to call the wife up to drive it in so i can steady the head unit.
Thanks man.

Exactly! It’ll definitely make life easier mounting and removing, I have back issues too and it definitely helps.
