Fisher 7'6" plow HT series
Bought the truck with the plow.
Worked great.
Now it will intermittently loose power nothing will work. You might get a whole driveway done or just a few passes. Shut off the truck let it sit and it may or may not work.
Replaced...
Solenoid
Module
Controller plug
Controller
Cleaned and checked both harness plugs
Checked all power
Checked all battery connections.
Talked to several plow guys that do this for a living and they don't know.
So don't even know what part to buy even if it would fix it
Help!

K. Step #1, stop buying parts at random.

Step #2, explain what is actually happening besides "losing power" - does that mean the controller shuts off? Motor runs but it doesn't move? Motor on the plow isn't running? Does the solenoid on the plow click? Does the controller act normal (i.e., is it flashing an error)?

No power to controller. Controller shuts off won't come back on.
Controller works/ acts normal
Not flashing just nothing

And what exactly did you do to "check all power" and "check all battery connections"?
He wants to know if you took the connections apart, cleaned the surfaces and the connectors and then reinstalled/connected them.

As for the truck park I thought this would be a much newer truck so the truck side probably isn’t the issue I was thinking of.

When you say you replace the solenoid what kind and make did you replace it with.?

When the plow stops functioning do you hear the solenoid click or the motor run or is there absolutely no response?

Verified power to everything. With test light/multi meter
K. You're going to do all of the following. And even if you "did it already", you're going to do it again.

#1, take the connections off at the battery and reinstall them
#2, Check the ignition fuse wire mentioned by @Knucklebusta - how is it installed? What fuse is it tapped to? Does it have a clip on an existing fuse or does it have a fuse tap?
#3, Check the fuse holders on the under hood plow harness - open the holder, make sure the fuses are seated properly, make sure there is no corrosion or broken wires at them.

Ok. Then after you've done the steps above, you are going to get a helper and have someone manipulate the 11 pin lighting plug at the grill (both ends, truck and plow) while someone else watches the controller inside the cab. You can also listen for clicking from the module under the hood. Twist/bend the molded ends and where the cord enters the molded end.
