Snofarmer is right. The construct of your poll seems to imply that you feel it won't happen - even though it is 100% guaranteed and, I would wager even money, will account for all plow trucks at some point within our lifetimes.

Yes, it isn’t supposed to be a serious poll. It is a joke.

The battery issues will need to be solved before you can create a viable electric powered snow plow truck.

The available square footage of the pickup bed obviously gives significantly more surface area for solar panel coverage. Long bed and quad cab will be the preferred model in the future for maximum power

Solar panels aren’t going to solve these problems. You need high energy density low weight and fast recharging. Super capacitors are a good option but still too large and bulky.

wireless power transmission by Nikola Tesla .

snow is a leftover condition of the ice age.
It didn’t snow in the Jurassic age.
The climate is in constant flux.

The bigger issue will be when the moon drifts
Far enough away to break its orbit with the earth

Wireless power transmission would probably not be the best solution given the amount power you would need to power a city— would possibly electrocute people if they complete the circuit , possibly cause issues with medical devices and electronics. The amount power needed to power a city wirelessly would probably not be safe for humans.
