Boss Salt Spreader Motor Shot
Hi all,
I’ve got a Boss salt spreader (manual hookup into the hitch) that has a completely corroded and non-functional motor and actuator (pt# tgs05898). Sadly, these run ~$700 new and I don’t feel like it is worth it to put that into a 20 year old salter. Granted, no other big issues, but this may be the beginning of the end…
Is there any place to buy these aftermarket or used? Or am I stuck buying the new oem ones at the unbelievably high prices?
