Hey everyone, Just got a used boss plow for my newly added plow truck. It was a pain to install but it doesn't sit into the bottom curve. Not sure if boss has different sizes for plows? Thanks for any insight. Have only used Western.

Yes, there are 3 different sizes for the hooks on that pushbeam. What is the diameter of the hole in the top of the hook? Also, what is the truck that it's on?

I thought a RT3 mount was a RT3? I will have to go measure. It's on a 2009 Ram 2500.

It's not. They have the RT3 which fits 7.5 standard to 9' superduty, they have the RT3 Sport/HTX which fits the downsized plows (which yours is based on the photo), and then they have the RT3 heavy duty used on the 10' plows.

Unfortunately, there is no pushbeam for your truck that fits that plow. That plow is intended for 1/2 ton or smaller trucks and they deliberately don't make a mount to match that plow.

To make it work, welding and fabricating would have to be done.

Yours is PBA05044-03 from LTA04770D and there is no HTX/Sport duty pushbeam with those same dimensions.

The rt3 sport has the hooks closer together. This plow fits the width just doesn't drop into the hook part on the bottom Cs

I measured and it's a standard RT3. Is there anything on the plow to see it its standard or sport?

The sticker on the back of the blade would identify it but the poly blade and only 2 trip springs indicates that it's either a sport or htx. The lack of a SH2 switch indicates it's a sport since they included it standard on the HTX models.
