Rates vary by geographical area rates vary by what your cost of doing business are and how much you wish to earn .
YOU have to figure out what your numbers are. Get everything together.
Hiw much does it take $$$ to run your truck a year, how much do you need to get to pay for your truck, how much do you need to get to pay for maintenance and your snowplow.
How much is your insurance cost, not your vehicle insurance but your business is liability insurance?
how much are you gonna pay the person operating the truck, how much do you pay your accountant, how much do you pay your check service, what will your fuel cost?
What is your Workmen’s Comp cost . I’m leaving a lot out so if you’re asking this question you’re not ready to be in business . jmo.

Maybe you should get a job plowing for somebody else but you’re still gonna need to set up your business, you’re still going to need insurance, you’re still going to need to know all of your costs so you can know if the money you’re being offered is worth it.

good luck

how much do you need to charge to clear an acre size parking lot with 2 inches of snow in it?
