I am looking at purchasing a 1981 FWD. The seller says that it will only go in first and second gear. Does anyone have a parts source for FWD. Thank you.

First off, welcome to the site. This time of year it gets kinda quiet round here, but anyway.
It is an FWD, but what model transmission, auto or a stick? If it is an auto, is it an Allison?

Thank you. So I believe that it is a 1979 FWD. I know that it is an FWD just not sure of the year. On the tag it has Model:RB441896V53 Serial No. J-20688. Automatic transmission that will only operate in 1st and 2nd. However the seller has informed me that he does not have a title so I may be dead in the water.

FWD parts are hard to find. FWD Seagrave has some parts but many are unavailable from them. Salvage yards and collectors are probably where you will find them. They will be very expensive.
