Traction Control

Hi guys, I have a 98 Ford crown vic and it has trac control. Is there any way to shut it off? Its very annoying when you're trying to get anywhere in a little bit of snow or mud. Thanks

Some Vics have a Traction control button on the dash or door panel depending on the year . Some didnt cop car option outs didnt, the only other way to disable Traction control is disable ABS which i cant endorse however if the ABS pump doesnt run traction control wont either

Look in the glove compartment there should be a little switch that looks like a truck switch, that should be the traction control switch, If you have the p71 (otherwise know as the police package) thats where it should be, because most trunk switches are on the dash right in plain site under the radio.

Also it should tell in the owners manual if that location does not work.
