Subcontracting Sand/salt Spreading

Hello All,

I'm new to the game of winter snow removal and sand/salt spreading. I own a GMC T8500 dump truck and am looking at buying a SEL Series - Electric Undertailgate Spreader and subcontracting myself out to snow removal companies.

Thoughts on whether buying the spreader etc are worth it?

Do companies need grit/salt spreader that can hold a decent amount of product etc?
