    Alan,

How are you. Missed you at Jerry's this year. Hope all is well. Got a question for you? I just bought a case w14 loader. Weights about 15,000 pounds. Can I pull it on some kind of trailer with my full size f350? trying to figure out how to get it home

    Alan,

How are you. long time no talk. I hope your summer was a good one. I bet you have been out plowing for months. I plowed for the first time Sunday night to a whopping 1/2 inch. I am not sure how my plow made it though it

Loved your maple syrup. It sure was a good choice to buy.

    Hope all is well.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to be doing a test seeding using that Enviro-Shield gypsum mulch. I was able to get a sample batch of the material from USG, took a while but it finally arrived yesterday. Had the factory rep (Doug Kelley) up here today, we were going to spray the job today but got rained out. Didn't want to do it and then have half the material washed off, it really deserves a good test with enough drying/setting time to harden it up.

Slope is probably 4" per foot or a bit more, I'm going to take a level with me tomorrow and verify that. I'll be measuring rainfall and intensity as well as temperatures and germination. Probably pictures as it starts to come in and surely of any washouts that might (hopefully won't) develop.

It's only a small patch, about 2500 square feet, but at least there will be actual performance observations instead of the usually overstated factory propaganda.

I gave the guy your website address and name and suggested he contact you about the mulch and who to talk to in your water district. Also introduced him to the people at Oliver Seed with the idea of maybe getting them to stock it if we can generate any contractor interest in it. He was also going to stop at the local VTDOT and try to find out who to deal with at the state level about erosion control and getting the material approved for erosion control on highway projects.
