New XP on GMC

I dunno, I won a HD75 and traded up for the XP. Took the Boss VXT off, so we'll try it and see what happens.

Good luck with it. I'm interested in how it works for you. Not many in my area, so I can't comment good or bad. One of the local dealers picked them up and dropped Boss, so I should be seeing more of them around.

Wow I've been gone for a long time.
The 12-13 winter only saw about 12 plow runs, the 13-14' saw over 50.
Plow held up well, only issue was self inflicted, bent the top of the wing pretty good, but nothing we couldn't straighten with porta-power and heat.
It's hard going from a v to a straight, but I'm liking it.

How does it compare on productivity? Why is it hard to go from a v to a somewhat straight? Scoop is what I would say.

Ron,

With the lots that we plow, a lot of snow has to be carried long distances. With the V plows it's a lot easier to take large amounts of snow. Problem with the semi straight blade is, if you get into trouble you can't V your plow back and keep going. It just stops the truck dead.
